Cedar wood is available everywhere, but the absolute best quality comes from North America and Canada with the typical sweet, woody cedar scent. Place your product to be smoked on the shelf and place it on the grill in your BBQ. Direct heat is blocked, the delicious taste and smell of cedar wood penetrates your dish. Do you use a metal BBQ? Then soak the board in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand. This is not necessary with a ceramic BBQ.
