As you can see in the picture the deflector fits nicely in the 14 inch box we sell. The dimensions of this box are:
Inner Diameter: 25cm
Outside Diameter: 29.5cm
There is still about 2cm of play, so your box can be 2cm narrower with the inner diameter. With the outer diameter this can also differ about 2cm.

Dimension : To determine the correct dimensions, it is essential to measure the inside diameter of your fire ring. The inner diameter of the fire bowl must be between 23 cm and 27 cm. Please note: although the platesetter is designed for a 14-inch kamado, you should not measure the 14 inches yourself. This plate setter (elevator with deflector) is suitable for the Small (14-inch) kamados, calculate the dimensions of your fire box/bowl to be sure.
