Dimension : To determine the correct dimensions, it is essential to measure the inside diameter of your fire ring. The inner diameter of the fire bowl must be between 28.5 cm and 31 cm. Please note: although the platesetter is designed for a 15-inch kamado, you should not measure the 15 inches yourself. This platesetter is too large for a 14-inch kamado; in that case we recommend the 14-inch platesetter. This plate setter (elevator with deflector) is suitable for compact (15-inch) kamados such as the Kamado Compact – Jacky. If you have a different brand of Kamado, calculate the dimensions of your fire box/bowl to be sure. If this plate setter just does not fit, the 15/16-inch ceramic plate setter is an excellent alternative, which lies on top of the ceramic interior and is therefore not dependent on the inner diameter of the fire bowl.
